Sherry Honeycutt
Sherry received her real estate license in 1987, after having received her BA in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and teaching for 12 years. Her real estate Broker's license was earned in 1994. She and her husband, Jack, a local CPA, have lived in Farmville since 1980 and have raised two children here.
Sherry is very involved in the Farmville community, both professionally and personally. She is recent past President of the local Real Estate Board, and has also served as its Treasurer. She is also Past President of the Farmville Junior Woman's Club and the Garden Study Club, as well as a former Director and Secretary of the Farmville Chamber of Commerce.
As an active member of the community, she has also volunteered as Director of the Prince Edward/Farmville Youth Association (former Dixie Youth League), Chairman of the Heart of Virginia Festival, founding member of the Southside Virginia Family YMCA, and Sunday School teacher.
Having served as a member of the Prince Edward County School Board since 1991, and its Vice-Chair for three years, Sherry has just retired as the Chair of the Prince Edward County School Board.
Sherry is a Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Advantage Plus, devoting much time and energy to building her professional real estate career; much of her business is derived from satisfied past customers and clients, as well as personal referrals.
